POROTHERM-type rib-and-slab ceiling made of ceramic hollow bricks

POROTHERM ceilings are made of ceramic blocks, which is based on ceramic-reinforced concrete ceiling beams. The upper level of the masonry, on which the ceiling is to be laid should be leveled with a thin layer on the right until an even surface is obtained.

After laying the POROTHERM ceramic ceiling, a layer of concrete overlay is poured 4 or 6 Cm.

The wreath thanks to the use of POROTHERM blocks 11,5 P + W or POROTHERM 8 P + W does not require formwork. In the external walls, a thermal insulation material is installed between the ceiling rim and the brickwork, insulating the face of the ceiling.

Partition walls located under the ceiling being made are connected to the ceiling with the use of mortar or mounting foam. If the walls are longer than 5 m, due to the deflection of the ceiling, a damping belt should be placed under its structure, e.g.. from a layer of mounting foam.
