Installation equipment

Installation equipment.

Installation equipment includes: equipment for installing cables in domestic and industrial installations, installation connectors (plug sockets and plugs, fuses), signalling installation equipment and other installation equipment.

Connectors are used for closing, opening and switching electrical circuits. Their assortment is very rich and takes into account various criteria for distribution, for example. the method of installation is the basis for the division of fasteners into: surface-mounted, flush-mounted and surface-mounted.

Depending on the connecting mechanism, they can be divided into keys and rotary (drawing).

Drawing. Installation fasteners: a) keyboard on plaster, b) keypad flush-mounted, c) surface-mounted keyboard, d) rotary knob in a drip-proof housing, e) layered in a protective casing, f) layered in a splash-proof housing.

Fasteners can be made of bakelite or resins, and the contacts are most often made of brass. The construction takes into account the environmental conditions, in which the fasteners will work, i.e.. air humidity, operating temperature limit. The most common for sale are switches with a rated voltage 250 V and the intensity of the electric current 6 -10 A.

Plug-in sockets and plugs are plug connectors intended for connecting low-power portable receivers. They have brass or copper contacts placed in a body made of insulating materials - bakelite or electrical porcelain.

Sockets are installed on plaster, under plaster and in plaster, they can be hermetic or have other structural protection, which protect against accidental electric shock in non-standard rooms, for example. in laundries.

The plugs have pins in the form of contacts, with standard sizes, for good contact and good current flow. The diameter and spacing of the plug pins as well as the holes in the sockets are so planned, the plug cannot be inserted into a socket with different voltages or a different rated current. In order to ensure the safety of using the electrical installation in the rooms, a socket and a plug with a protective contact are used (grounding or zeroing). Various types of plug sockets and plugs are used in the world, in which the arrangement and shape of the contacts does not correspond to the Polish Standards (drawing).

Installation fuses are used to interrupt the flow of current in residential and industrial installations by melting an element, called a topic, during a short circuit or overload. They are built from the base (housing) porcelain and a fuse link (drawing).

Drawing. Fuses: a) fusible, b) automatic 1 - base (case), 2 - footer, 3 - fuse link, 4 - holder.

In case of, when the current intensity is higher than the rated current, the fuse heats up and melts, which interrupts the power supply.

In addition to fuses, the sale includes automatic fuses (screw-type circuit breaker), which also interrupts the power supply in the event of short circuits and overloads. Restoring the current flow in electrical installations with these fuses is much simpler and more convenient for the user than with a melting fuse.

The trade in goods includes fuses for household electrical installations with amperage 6, 10, 16 i 25 A. All fuses have the symbol Bi, additionally, specific markings are introduced, indicating the fuse type, for example. Bi-Wts 10/220V, i.e.. quick action fuse, adapted to the rated current 10 And the tension 220 V.

According to SWW, the signaling installation equipment includes:

- home signaling installation equipment,

- bells,

- buzzers,

- bell transformers,

- flap numberers,

- bell buttons.

According to the SWW, other installation equipment includes:

- installation threaded holders for light sources,

- installation bayonet holders,

- holders for fluorescent lamps.

Lampholders are used to connect bulbs with cables and are a component of each luminaire. They can be made of Bakelite, metal or porcelain.

Luminaires are used to connect one or more light sources to an electrical installation. With the help of the luminaires, you can direct the luminous flux in the desired direction, reduce brightness and separate light sources from the environment. Bulbs can be connected to the luminaires, fluorescent lamps, mercury vapor and sodium lamps with a voltage up to 380 V. Luminaires are combined with various cooperating structural elements, for example. devices for locating luminaires, shades, abazurami, wall sconces.
