The operation of electrical heating devices is based on the conversion of electrical energy into heat as a result of:

— heat generation when current flows through an electrical conductor,

— heat generation by an electric arc,

— heat generation in a dielectric located in a variable electric field,

— conversion of electromagnetic to thermal wave energy in bodies irradiated with radiators.

For electrical heating equipment, according to SWW, Include:

• electric heating appliances for indirect cooking and baking – electric kitchens (hobs), Kitchens 3- or 4-plate with oven, rotisserie, Heater;

• electric heating appliances for direct cooking and baking – electric pots, teapots, cookware, toasters, coffee machines;

• electrical equipment for drying - clothes dryers, dish dryers, hand dryers;

• electric heating devices for heating water - brewers (Boilers), pressure electric water heaters;

• heating electrical appliances for ironing - household irons, tailoring, Tourist, with humidifier.

On the domestic market there is a large offer of electric kitchens with standardized widths 50 i 60 cm in two basic colors — white and brown (some even have decorative motifs, like. "piano"). These devices provide the possibility of rapid heating, reaching high temperatures, high purity of this process, are functional and aesthetic.

Many types are equipped with additional devices, how: electric oven, lighting, upper and lower heaters that are switched on independently, electric rotating spit etc.. In the trade of goods there are different types of irons. Depending on the equipment and usable purpose, these are:

— tourist irons.

Irons play an important role in the preservation of fabric products. Various options, with which new irons are equipped, significantly improve ironing.
